GET TO KNOW ME
Living in Southern California has always been a dream of small-town, theatrical singer-songwriter, Zachary David Terrazas. In early 2019, he packed his bags and moved to the city that never sleeps and now he has just moved to Los Angeles.

Born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, a small town in the middle of nowhere known as the snack food capital of the world, Zachary began cultivating his love of music at a young age. A creative and energetic only-child, Zachary could be found constantly singing around the house and composing small melodies. As a middle school student, Zachary noticed he had different interests from his peers. He listened to music his friends had never heard of like Chicago, Styx, Billy Joel, and James Taylor. He also started writing his own compositions. Zachary often found solace in music and used it as an escape during tough times.

Zachary’s outgoing and lively personality led him to the stage as an actor. After taking center stage for several years, he took a new approach to his theatre career when he wrote, composed and directed his first original musical, The Victim. After a sold-out opening weekend, the show became a local media hit picking up coverage on Susquehanna Valley News 8 and NPR. Broadway World said the music in The Victim was “of professional caliber, with flavors of jazz, gospel and pop.”

He has a strong performance background, rocking on the keyboard with multiple bands in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area. He and his bands had the honor and privilege to open for stellar musicians such as Jefferson Starship, John Sebastian, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. In addition to his membership in successful bands, Zachary had the mind-blowing opportunity to perform on stage with Foreigner. Zachary has also played in various pit orchestras and has accompanied singers in recitals, shows, musical auditions, and more. In addition to piano, Zachary also plays the guitar.

In more recent success, Zachary released his first single, "Speak" and released his first album "The Street Suite". From rural Pennsylvania to sunny SoCal, music has always been there and has shaped Zachary David Terrazas into the person and artist he is and continues to grow into.
